Jeremy joined the United States Marine Corps in 2008. He first deployed on the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit with First Battalion, First Marines. He then transferred to First Battalion, Seventh Marines and deployed to the Sangin District. His military awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with Combat Distinguishing Device, and the Combat Action Ribbon. After leaving the military in 2013, Jeremy established the Sangin Valley Gun Club to help veterans and service members maintain camaraderie. Jeremy is the Veteran’s Liaison for the International Union of Elevator Constructors Local 18, and owns an SEC-registered Investment Advisory Firm.
Evan deployed twice to Sangin with Third Battalion, Seventh Marines. In 2010, he supported the transfer of authority for Sangin from the British Royal Marines to the United States Marine Corps. He returned in 2011 as a Company Commander. His military awards include two Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medals, with one Combat Distinguishing Device, and the Combat Action Ribbon. Evan has also volunteered for two years with the Peace Corps in Moldova, and is the author of the El Camino de Costa Rica Hiking Guide. He received his BA from UC Irvine, and his MPA from UT Arlington.Â
Brandon joined 1st Battalion, the Royal Welsh (Royal Welch Fusiliers) in 2011 and deployed to CF Burma, Helmand Province, in 2012. 2 Platoon, A Coy, 1 R WELSH, were deployed to CP Pan Kalay, in the shadow of FOB Robinson between March and September 2012. In a turn of serendipity, Brandon’s platoon provided support to Jeremy during a fierce operation in nearby Qala-ye Gaz. Following his medical discharge from the British Army in 2018, Brandon moved into the information security space. He is passionate about veterans’ mental health and well-being.Â
